successful business teamSo you’ve got the process for successful project management right (step 1), you’ve found the right tools and templates to help you follow the process (step 2).  Now you need project management competence to follow the process and use the tools.  This is step 3.

You might now need to get some project management knowledge, recruit some project managers, or train yourself or your colleagues in how to do project management better.  Here we’ve attempted to gather some of the web key resources to get you on the way.  If you’d like to suggest additions do drop us a line.

PM Knowledge

Project Managers in any organisation build a large knowledge base, either informally or formally.  Where it is more formal there is often a PMO to help share best practice. Often we are asked where should a PM in a smaller organisation turn.  If you are in that situation take a look at PM Answers.

PM Recruitment

There are many pitfalls when recruiting project managers.  This post suggests some great ways of avoiding those pitfalls.
